On Wednesday September 18, I was assistant principal for a day. I absolutely loved it! I am so thankful that my principal is very supportive of me wanting to learn all the ropes to becoming a principal. I was able to see education from the administrators side. Being assistant principal for a day was completely different from being in a classroom teaching. I was able to do a few walk throughs, lunch duty and sit in on a conference and an ARD. I learned a lot on my first day of assistant principal. I look forward to many more!
